Finding Light In Darkness

In this piece titled “Finding Light in Darkness”, the hands hold a sunflower, a water lily, a wildflower, a mushroom, and clovers. In the background, there is a dead forest and a tree trunk where the tree has been cut down. In this piece, I used colored pencil because the color in the life is vivid while the color representing the death is harsh and dark. The composition portrays that even though the world is polluted, all of us hold the power to bring about life.
